Artist Statement

My work is shaped by a feminist perspective and by an ongoing reflection on questions of representation, belonging, and the enduring impact of colonial histories.

I am a multidisciplinary artist whose practice is centred on painting. Through figurative imagery, I explore the relationship between personal experience and broader social realities. My work examines how people inhabit spaces, form communities, and navigate the structures that shape everyday life.

While painting remains at the core of my practice, I often combine it with video, sound, light, and installation to create immersive exhibition environments.
